Hi there! Nice pictures in your gallery, that's for sure! What lens do you use with your EOS 1000D (or like some people call it: Rebel XS), the kitlens? The 18-55 IS?
It's a nice shot and your were very lucky to capture this one
I suggest getting a tripod to get sharper picture and more stability, it will really enhance your pictures.
The body of a camera isn't the most important part, the lens is
. The 1000D is a good body, keep it.
Also, make full size 600 or 800 pixels. I always choose 800 for wide pictures, 600 for heigh pictures. It's more pleasant to view for people with 13" screens.
